Todd hands the keys to Lucy as part of the dedication of this new addition.
Friday saw the completion of the drywall at Janette's, installation of a few doors at the mission and the dedication of the Lopez home addition.
It was good to see Janette and her family again. Her grand daughter Kendra is the only Navajo from her high school class to finish their first year of college. She is studying cinematography.
We were deeply touched when Lucy pulled out a box of handmade jewelry that she wanted EACH person on the team to take a piece in appreciation for what they had done. A few tears were shed and we were humbled as this gift to us represented a significant financial gift to us. To not accept this gift would have been an offense. When several very beautiful pieces were individually given by Lucy to several of the team members, they were deeply touched.
