Worship With Us In-Person & ONLINE

In-person worship will resume on Sunday, January 3rd. Worship will continue to be livestreamed on our church Facebook page at 9:00am Sunday mornings and available here on our website to view at any time during the week.

We are also looking forward to restarting Sunday School, Confirmation, and adult classes. Please read your bulletin for the most up-to-date church information.

Finally, familiarize yourself with the C.A.R.E. team protocols which will help protect the health of our church family

All Are Welcome.

No Exceptions.

You are a

Child of God!

First United Methodist Church in Lindstrom is a welcoming, accepting, and authentic community of faith.

Together at First UMC we grow as disciples of Jesus trusting in His forgiving grace and endless mercy. Our goal is to always strive to stay faithful to the three scriptural imperatives of the United Methodist Church: 1.) To Grow in Love toward God and Neighbor (Matt. 22:37-40), 2.) To Reach New People (Matt. 28:19-20), and 3.) To Heal a Broken World (Luke 4:16-21).

To stay true to these, is to stay true to Jesus and his life and ministry.

God loves all people.

So do we.

Please take a look around our website and Facebook page. We hope you will contact us if you have any questions.

Together: We Are Sent!

Dear Friends,

Okay, so this week is a crazy one for me – thus a day late on the blog – and a shorter one at that!
Nothing major going on with me, just a combination of events that have limited how much time I’ve had in front of the computer (which isn’t always that bad!).

I continue to feel grateful for our time in worship together. Last Sunday I was happy to acknowledge the 50th anniversary of worshiping in our current building. It was built in 1968 and the first worship held in it was on Sunday, September 22 of that year. At the close of worship on Sunday we invited all current members who were worshiping that day 50 years ago, to come forward for a photo. Great memories for them and an important milestone in the history of our 160 year old congregation.
