THE SACRAMENT OF HOLY COMMUNION IN THE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH

We celebrate an open Communion table. Just as Jesus welcomed all to eat with him—both saints and sinners—we, too, welcome all. It is only required that you come with open hearts and minds, realizing that God might do something miraculous in your personal life, and in the life of this family. We remember, honor and marvel at this gift given through the boundless grace of God, the self-giving love of Christ, and the life-giving power of the Holy Spirit.
