H.E.L.P.

Health Equipment Lending Program

H.E.L.P. began in 2010 with the idea of three men from the community who saw the need for health equipment to be available to all who may have need of it. H.E.L.P. offers used medical equipment to anyone with a temporary need.

The equipment can be borrowed for up to six months, but can be extended for another six months with a phone call. All equipment needs to returned after one year.

The equipment in the loan program is donated and most, if not all, has been gently used. It is donated by individuals and health care providers in the community. It is cleaned and sanitized before being issued for use.

Donations of good, clean, medical equipment can be brought to First United Methodist Church.

Equipment available for loan includes:
  • Dressing aids
  • Bathroom aids
  • Commodes
  • Walkers
  • Wheelchairs
  • Canes
  • Crutches
  • Knee scooters

After determining your need and consulting with your doctor or therapist, please contact the church office (651-257-4306) to check availability of equipment.
